This year the May Day Spring Fair is introducing several new contests, including the Quilt of Valor quilt contest. Simply sew a quilt block with red, white, and blue fabrics. Block must measure exactly 12 1/2" x 12 1/2", with an unfinished edge. The "Let Freedom Ring" collection, available at Heart To Heart Fabrics would be a great fabric selection for this contest not to mention 10% of the proceeds go towards the American Valor, Quilts of Valor Foundation. In addition, each contest entry submitted will become the property of the Merced County Spring Fair and will be donated to the Quilts of Valor Foundation for all war wounded and injured service members and veterans from the War on Terror. Come join us this evening for a 'cheerful and bright' Christmas evening downtown as Downtown Los Banos officially kicks off the season in a tradition of holiday hospitality. Heart To Heart Fabrics, along with many other downtown merchants will be participating in our 4th annual "Christmas Evening Downtown" from 5:30-9pm. Stores will be adorned with beautiful decorations, provide entertainment, offer delicious refreshments, along with strolling carolers, which add a special charm to our quaint downtown streets. This event is for adults only to enjoy. To pick up a passport for this great evening check-in at 6th and J St. Salvation Army will be accepting non-perishable items for donation.
